**TOP 3% GLOBALLY RANKED MARKETING PODCAST**
Are you a woman in business who built the business you thought you wanted… only to realize you're still chasing visibility, creating constant content, and wondering why success doesn't feel as fulfilling as you expected?
Maybe you're a coach, consultant, or service provider with a podcast who knows you're an expert—but your show isn't helping you become known, build thought leadership, or attract the opportunities you know you're capable of.
Or maybe you're tired of wondering why your podcast isn't getting discovered, growing, or charting?
If you're nodding your head, you're exactly who this podcast was created for!
The truth is, the businesses making the biggest impact today aren't built by the people creating the most content. They're built by the people who become known. When you're recognized as the expert people trust, opportunities find you, clients come to you, and business becomes more sustainable.
Your podcast shouldn't just be another piece of content. It should be the reason people know your name. That's exactly what this podcast is here to help you do.
Hi, I'm Jan Ditchfield. I launched my first podcast with a $25 microphone from Amazon and 15 downloads. Today, I host two chart-topping podcasts. I've built a multiple six-figure business powered by my podcast, and people regularly stop me in the grocery store to tell me they listen to my show.
But it wasn’t always that way. Like so many of the women I work with, I thought success meant being everywhere. More content. More platforms. More visibility. I was chasing attention instead of authority. Everything changed when I stopped treating my podcast like content and started treating it like my most valuable business asset.
That shift didn't just grow my business. It changed how people saw me. Today, opportunities come to me instead of me constantly chasing them, and I help women entrepreneurs, coaches, consultants, and service providers build that same kind of authority through podcast strategy, podcast SEO, and strategic podcast positioning.
Inside this show, you'll learn how to:
✨ Build thought leadership that positions you as the recognized expert in your field.
✨ Use podcast strategy and podcast SEO to grow a business podcast that gets discovered.
✨ Create binge-worthy episodes that help your podcast chart, build authority, and attract the right audience.
✨ Build a sustainable business by turning your podcast into your most valuable business asset.
I don't measure success by downloads. I measure it by whether your podcast helps you become known, your authority grows, and your business starts attracting opportunities instead of chasing them. The charting is simply the proof.
If you're ready to build a podcast that grows your authority, charts your show, and helps you build a business you're proud to own, hit play, my friend, and let's get to work.

22 // Want to Make Money Online With Your Podcast? Avoid This Mistake! | Workshop Series Ep. 2
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
If you want to make money online with your podcast, there is one mistake that will quietly sabotage your results before you ever record episode one.
In this second episode of our five-part workshop series, This Is How to Make Podcasting Your Number One Revenue Generator in Your Online Business, I’m breaking down the real reason most podcasts do not generate revenue — even when the host is smart, experienced, and consistent.
The mistake is following podcasting advice that was created by creators, for creators.
Most mainstream podcast marketing advice is built around growing downloads, building community, and “monetizing later.” The monetization plan becomes something you figure out once the audience grows. But that strategy was designed for content creators who make money through ads, sponsorships, and volume.
It was not designed for business owners.
When you follow that model, you accidentally put your monetization plan at the end of your strategy instead of at the beginning of your funnel. And if you are trying to make money online as a business owner, that is backwards.
In this episode, I explain why that advice does not work when your goal is evergreen sales and sustainable revenue. I walk you through why starting with content instead of a buyer-ready offer leads to burnout, inconsistent income, and a show that feels busy but unprofitable.
If you want to grow your online business, your podcast cannot be built like a media brand. It needs to be built like a sales system.
That means before you start a podcast for business, you need clarity on your buyer-ready offer. You need to know what transformation you are selling. You need to design your episodes around moving listeners toward a decision. And you need to build your evergreen marketing strategy from the offer outward — not the other way around.
In this training, I show you how I flip the traditional model. Instead of asking, “How do I grow my podcast?” we start with, “What am I selling?” Instead of building an audience and hoping it converts, we design the podcast to support conversion from day one.
This is how you make money online without chasing downloads, build podcast marketing strategies that attracts buyers instead of browsers, and avoid becoming another business owner who started a business for freedom but accidentally built a full-time content job instead.
If you are serious about using podcasting to make money online and create predictable revenue, this episode will shift how you think about your entire strategy.
Again, this is the second episode in our five-part workshop series, This Is How to Make Podcasting Your Number One Revenue Generator in Your Online Business. Each episode builds intentionally, so if you missed the first one, go back and listen.
And don’t forget to download the companion workbook at janditchfield.co/workbook. It walks you step-by-step through what I am teaching in this series, and inside the workbook you will find a $500 discount toward the final seat in my new program, Podcasts That Convert.
If you want to make money online with your podcast, the revenue plan has to come first.
Let’s build it that way.
